Josh Bergman's profound passion for cars, and motorsport started at an early age. At 6 (in 2022) he was introduced to Carlos Iaconelli and Nelson Piquet Jr of Piquet Sports. After some testing it was clear that Josh had the talent to succeed and he started to compete in the Micro Swift Class. Winning multiple race weekends in his first year was the spring board to increased momentum.
2023 saw the consecration of the partnership between Piquet Sports and Sodi Racing USA. Josh was quickly confirmed as The Factory Driver in the Micro / Mini Class and joined the Pro Tour. In 2023 Josh won the Superkarts USA Pro Tour in Utah and continued his winning streak with race wins in Florida, Utah, Georgia Ohio and North Carolina. He finished the 2023 SKUSA Pro Tour in 3rd place and attained P2 at the USA's landmark event, SuperNats 26 in Las Vegas.
In February 2024 Josh signed a multi-year agreement to race for Kart Republic with 2024 plans focused on the US with Trinity Karting Group, as well as some efforts overseas with KR Factory Team Kidix Driver Performance.
Following a successful rookie Mini Swift season in the USA which saw numerous race wins and national podiums, Josh raced in Italy at the end of the year, where he took his maiden Italian podium in the Trofeo Ayrton Senna.
As a result of this success and demonstrable ability to run at the front in Italy Josh will be based in Europe for 2025 racing with KR Motorsport team Kidix Driver Performance.
Josh kickstarted the 2025 Season with 3 back-to-back WSK Super Master Series Victories at Round 1 in La Conca, Round 2 in Sarno and Round 3 in Lonato. This was followed with subsequent podiums in Round 4 and Round 5. This culminated in Josh being crowned the youngest ever American WSK Champion and ranking #1 in the FIA World Karting Rankings.
ROK Cup Italia
21 June 2025
Josh completed an excellent performance at ROK Cup Italia at South Garda Karting. After Qualifying P2 - just 0.01 seconds from Pole, In Race 1 he crossed the line in P1 but an unfortunate penalty moved him to P4. Starting the Final Race in P5 he won the race , cementing a successful first ROK race in Italy.
Back to Back Podiums at ACI Italian Championship
25th May 2025
Josh Bergman achieved back to back Podiums in the first two rounds of the 2025 ACI Italian Championship - Taking P2 in Ugento and P1 in Viterbo. His dominance in Viterbo saw him qualify on Pole and win all of the heat races to enable a Pole Position start for the final which he won.
WSK Euro Series Round 1
17th May 2025
Josh secured P2 in the opening round of the WSK Euro Series in Viterbo to kickstart his Euro Series campaign - picking up where he left off following his Championship victory at the same track two months earlier.

Josh Bergman (Kidix Driver Performance) was also crowned champion this season after an impressive performance in the Mini U10 class: five podiums including three wins in five events and a lead of over 100 points in the overall standings.

The winner of the first two rounds of the WSK Super Master Series in La Conca and Sarno, Josh Bergman (Kidix/KR-Iame-Vega), managed to prevail also in this third event at the end of a Final resolved in the last laps.

MINI U10 – Bergman takes another win in Sarno.
Josh Bergman, driving for Kidix on a KR-Iame-Vega, has once again claimed victory in the MINI U10 category, securing his second consecutive win after his success at La Conca. With this win, Bergman has further extended his lead in the championship.

Dino Chiesa is the principal and owner of Kart Republic. Mr Chiesa is one of the most respected and iconic team managers in the paddock. His career started as a driver in 1980, then quickly as a technician from 1984, where he supported the victorious karting careers of drivers like Alessandro Zanardi, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Nyck De Vries, Lance Stroll and many others.
He has reached yet another pinnacle consistently winning with his own chassis brand Kart Republic.
Mr Chiesa is considered to be the leading figure in Karting worldwide.
Paul Di Resta is a British racing driver from Scotland, competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Peugeot Sport in their LMH entry and for United Autosports in the IMSA LMP2 Championship.
He drove in Formula One for Force India from 2011 to 2013, and became a driver for the Williams F1 team in 2016 and 2017. He is also a former Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) , Formula 3 and British Karting champion. He was a reserve F1 driver for McLaren for the 2022 season, and is also a former commentator for Sky Sports' coverage of F1.
Paul manages the interests of a handful of the best young drivers in the world of motorsport who are considered to be the sport's rising stars.
Josh is advised and guided by Paul who recently commented in the Press, "I’m very excited to be part of the foundations behind Josh and work with his family on his journey. After rising to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, he secured a drive with BMW in the DTM. At 21, he became the youngest driver to win a DTM race with BMW . At the end of the 2017 DTM season, Blomqvist began racing in a variety of series and specialties, from Formula E, to the World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship as a member of BMW’s factory programs. Blomqvist scored his first 24 Hours of Spa victory in 2018 as well as runner up in the 12 Hours of Bathurst in 2020. Blomqvist spent 2021 racing in the WEC in LMP2. He finished second at the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours and ended the season second in the LMP2 driver’s championship.Blomqvist joined MSR in 2022 for his first full-season IMSA effort and won the Rolex 24 Hours At Daytona. He bookended the season with a win at the Motul Petit Le Mans which yielded a championship title for the team.
In 2023, Blomqvist took on a new challenge as the top IMSA category transitioned to hybrid machines. Blomqvist won his second Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. Following this success he drove multiple IndyCar races in 2023 and signed with Meyer Shank Racing to pilot the Number 60 Indy Car entry in 2024. During 2024 Blomqvist also raced for Whelen Cadillac Racing in the IMSA Series. In 2025 Blomqvist will continue with IMSA back with Meyer Shank Racing.
Jonathan is an experienced, data driven Driver Coach. He has won numerous titles and coached a variety of champions across multiple Kart and vehicle classes. Jonathan's expertise and intuition has been vital in Josh's development on the Kart Republic chassis.
