Josh's Story So Far
Josh Bergman's profound passion for cars and motorsport started at an early age. At 6 years old (in 2022) he was introduced to Karting. After some testing and early race success, it was clear Josh had the talent to succeed. In 2023 he commenced his journey in Micro Swift and won multiple races in the USA including SKUSA and a vice championship at SuperNats.
2024 saw him graduating to Mini Swift in the USA for Kart Republic. Josh achieved multiple victories and demonstrated consistent performance at the front of national competition. In November he entered his first race in Italy and became Vice Champion at the Trofeo Ayrton Senna.
In 2025, Josh signed with Kidix Driver Performance. 2025 began with three consecutive WSK victories and culminated with Josh becoming the youngest ever American WSK Champion and ranking #1 in the FIA World Karting Rankings.
Following the WSK Championship victory he was signed by Red Bull Junior Team as the youngest ever American to be signed to a F1 Junior Program.
2025 saw a total of 16 podiums and in addition to his WSK Title, Vice Championship status in ACI Italian Championship, ROK SuperFinal and ROK Austria.
2026 - Josh moved up to OKNJ in Italy with Kart Republic Motorsport. He immediately achieved success - podiums and wins in the US, Austria and Italy - including becoming the youngest winner of an Italian Championship OKNJ Race in history.
Josh's Story So Far
Josh Bergman's profound passion for cars and motorsport started at an early age. At 6 (in 2022) he was introduced to Carlos Iaconelli and Nelson Piquet Jr of Piquet Sports. After some testing it was clear Josh had the talent to succeed, beginning his journey in the Micro Swift Class and winning multiple race weekends his first year.
2023 marked Josh's partnership with Piquet Sports and Sodi Racing USA as The Factory Driver in the Micro/Mini Class and joining the Pro Tour. Josh won the Superkarts USA Pro Tour in Utah, added multiple wins across the US, and finished 3rd at the SKUSA Pro Tour and 2nd at SuperNats 26 in Las Vegas.
In 2024, Josh signed with Kart Republic, racing for Trinity Karting Group and KR Factory Team Kidix in the US and overseas. 2025 began with three consecutive WSK victories and culminated with Josh becoming the youngest ever American WSK Champion and ranking #1 in the FIA World Karting Rankings.

ROK Cup Austria Rd 5: Sweep at Speedworld
A great way to close out the 2026 season in Austria. We were consistently at the top of the leaderboard all weekend, starting with Pole Position, followed by a win in the Pre-Final and a lights-to-flag victory in the Final to complete the sweep.
That result secured P2 in the Championship, despite competing in only 3 of the 5 rounds. Even better, we won every race we entered. A strong finish to an incredible season.
ROK Cup Austria Rd 4: Another Ace in Austria
A dominant performance in Round 4 of the 2026 ROK Cup in Vienna. We set the pace from the start, going fastest in practice, taking Pole Position in qualifying, winning the Pre-Final, and finishing it off with victory in the Final.
A perfect way to open the double-header weekend and a strong statement from start to finish.
ACI Italian Championship 2026 Rd 4: Value in Val Vibrata
A race that threw everything at us - from +40C heat to torrentiual rain for the Final - this was a rollercoaster of strategy, perseverance and strength. We qualified P5 in Group. Heat 1 - P3, Heat 2 - P4, Heat 3 - P6. Started Prefinal in P3 and finished P1 ! Started Final in P3 in heavy rain. This was Josh’s first race in the big kart in the rain and driving different lines on a rain chassis and on different setup - we got tot the front for a brief moment but the arduous conditions saw a small mistake and we finished in P3, a result we were happy with considering the concitions.
Josh has been featured in the press nationally, including articles in the New York Times, EKarting News, Kart Chaser and various other publications.
Josh was recently selected as the Karting Mini driver to represent Team USA at the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia.
